MultiTaction Delivers Major Showcase Update: No-Code Interactive Experiences, Visitor Take-Away, and Object-Triggered Content

07 October 2026

The Showcase 26.x line lets content teams build interactive experiences without code, lets visitors take content with them and contribute their own, and turns physical objects into triggers on MultiTaction Decca.

DES PLAINES, IL. MultiTaction today announced a major update to Showcase, its interactive storytelling platform, spanning the platform's 26.x release line. Content teams now build multi-step interactive experiences without writing code, visitors take the information they need with them and can send their own photos and video to the wall, and on MultiTaction Decca, a physical object can trigger the content authored for it.

Interactive display software is too often lumped in with digital signage. Digital signage plays content. Showcase responds to visitors, adapts to their choices, lets them leave with what they came for, and now lets them add to the experience, all built by the marketing or curatorial team that owns the story, with no developer and no agency.

"Showcase has become the platform we always believed it could be. A content team can build a genuinely interactive experience, a visitor can walk away with the information they need or even add to what is on the wall, and none of it requires a developer."

Dan Acquafredda, President & CEO, MultiTaction

What's New

Build interactive experiences, without code. The Showcase Logic System, built on logic gates, counters, and widget groups, lets a content team create conditional, multi-step experiences directly in a rebuilt, touch-first browser editor. The widget set now includes interactive 3D models. No developer, no support ticket.

Turn visitors into participants. Visitors collect content as they explore and take it with them, returning to it later by QR code or a persistent link that can be printed on a visitor pass. They can send their own photos and video to the wall through a moderated queue, and mark up documents and images in place, with the markup traveling along when the content is collected.

Object-triggered content, powered by Decca. On MultiTaction Decca, Codice Widget Triggers let a physical card launch the content authored for it, firing once or only while the card is present, and doing different things in different applications. Codice Connectors extend the same triggers to third-party sensors and hardware, including motion, NFC, RFID, lidar, and DMX. Codice is exclusive to Decca.

Also in this release: engagement analytics; enterprise security with SSO (OIDC and SAML), per-user roles, audit logging, and PIN Lock; multi-GPU rendering and edge blending for the largest walls; and network video, in and out, over NDI.

Availability

This update to Showcase is available through certified AV integrators worldwide, with the current release in the 26.09 line. Showcase is licensed per device, is hardware-agnostic, and runs on most major interactive displays, with MultiTaction Decca as the only certified display for the full platform, including Codice object recognition. Showcase runs on its own or alongside Canvus as part of the MultiTaction Software Suite. For the full list of what is new, visit multitaction.com.
