MultiTaction Delivers Major Canvus Update: Interactive 3D, Live Network Video, and Multi-Display Scale

30 July 2026

The Canvus 26.x line brings interactive 3D and live network video into the shared session, scales cleanly across the largest multi-display walls, and organizes a whole session with one tap.

DES PLAINES, IL. MultiTaction today announced a major update to Canvus, its multi-source visual collaboration workspace, spanning the platform's 26.x release line. The update brings interactive 3D models and live network video into the shared session, scales cleanly across the largest multi-display walls, and keeps setup fast for everyone in the room.

The principle behind Canvus has not changed: the technology should accelerate the work, not compete with it. This update gives teams more to work with once they are on the same surface, without asking them to manage the tool to get there.

"Canvus keeps getting more capable without getting harder to use. You can drop in a 3D model, pull a live video feed off the network, and run it all across a wall of any size, and none of it slows the team down. That is the standard we hold ourselves to."

Dan Acquafredda, President & CEO, MultiTaction

What's New

More in the room. Bring interactive 3D models onto the workspace and rotate, zoom, and explore them live, with everyone in the session seeing the same model in real time. Pull live video off the network with NDI, in and out, and set a looping video behind the session for an ambient, branded backdrop.

Built for the biggest walls. Canvus now renders across every GPU in a system, so the largest multi-display walls stay smooth, and edge blending aligns overlapping displays and projectors into one continuous surface.

Organized in one tap. Spatial Intelligence arranges a whole session at once, into a grid, kanban, timeline, or force-directed layout, and pushes overlapping content apart. Anchor Pages lay out named zones in a single tap, and workspace macros move, copy, or clear whole groups of content between the view and those zones.

Participants join from anywhere, opening a session in a browser from a share link or QR code, with no install.

Availability

This update to Canvus is available through certified AV integrators worldwide, with the current release in the 26.09 line. Canvus deploys on-premises or in the customer's own cloud, is hardware-agnostic, and runs on most major interactive displays, with MultiTaction Decca as the only certified display for the full platform, including Codice. Canvus Server is now a separate product with its own release line; 26.x clients and 3.4.x servers are cross-compatible, and some perpetual licenses tied to a major version may need to be re-issued.
